Asian stir fry with bamboo shoot!

Today I cooked a bamboo shoot from the hill behind of my place.
I sauteed it with beef and bell peppers, and made stir fry.

To prepare the vegetables, I used a Nakiri kitchen knife.

It’s a traditional Japanese square kitchen knife for vegetable.

To thinly slice beef, I recommend a Gyuto (chef knife) or Santoku (an all purpose kitchen knife).
The Santoku is convenient when you want to prepare vegetables and meat together.

One of the good things of Japanese kitchen knives is that they serve multiple functions so that you don’t have to use a different one for every different purpose. Please check our lineup!
