Rose shaped apple pies

I baked rose shaped apple pies.

To form roses, arrange about 8 apple slices on the dough, overlapping one another.
Make sure the top, apple skin side, of the slices sticks a little out of the strip. Sprinkle with cinnamon as you like.

Heat oven to about 350°F. Transfer to oven and bake until the crust is golden and apples have cooked, about 30 minutes. If apples start to brown faster than pie crust, lightly place foil on top.

You will want to make sure the apple slices are uniform in thinness for easy rolling. This means you will need a sharp knife.

I recomend our petty knife to prepare fruits. It a little smaller than chef or Santoku knife and easy to handle.
