Vermicelli noodle salad with julienne vegetables

This time I made vermicelli salad. Vermicelli noodles are similar in appearance to Shirataki noodles (popularly known as “Zen noodles” in both Europe and America.)

Vermicelli noodles are also known for having a delicious, light taste. They are often eaten with ponzu (a Japanese citrus-based sauce) or salad dressing.

Nakiri knives are recommended for intricate work such as shredding vegetables.
